About Ian

Ian Holman is an illustrator, zine maker and painter based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY. His zine, “Minotaur’s Daughter,” is an experimental comic book that functions as a nonlinear essay on the limits of reality. He has exhibited his paintings in Los Angeles and New York, and his illustrations have been published in “Arthur Magazine,” “Great God Pan,” “The Devil You Know, the Devil You Don’t” and various other underground publications and albums. He received a BFA in fine art/illustration from Pasadena Art Center College of Design and an MFA in painting from Hunter College in NYC. A second installment of “Minotaur’s Daughter” is currently in production.
